There is no denying that Tiger Woods has had a pretty shitty past week or so. The blogosphere has been blazing with news this past weekend over his alleged affair and weird car crash. It’s been a bit overwhelming to keep up with it all and to know exactly what has happened. Hopefully with this summary you might understand all the madness. Here is a blogosphere summary of the past 14 days for Tiger Woods. From hissy fits to boos to cheating allegations and domestic abuse, I’ll try to make the whole Tiger Woods scandal a little easier to understand.

November 16th – SPORTSbyBROOKS

Even before the mistress and crash scandal, Tiger was making news with his Australian Masters hissy fit. Disgusted after a bad drive, Tiger threw his driver into the crowd nearly hitting a woman and child. Tiger just being Tiger.

November 23rd – The Big Lead

During half time of the Cal/Standford game, Tiger was honored for being inducted into the Standford sports hall of fame. Much to his shock though Tiger was booed by what many say were Cal fans. Maybe? The boos were so loud at one point Tiger had to stop his speech. Tiger’s shitty week has yet to start.

November 26th – TotalProSports

Reports from the National Enquirer (credible source, I know) start surfacing that Tiger is having a fling with New York Socialite Rachel Uchitel. The news is hot and spread rampant through the Interwebs. Here is a summary of of posts from around the web.

November 27th – StraightPinkie

Twitter and the Internet blew up Friday afternoon with reports that Tiger Woods was seriously Injured in a single car wreck. There was little details available at first, but initial reports said that Tiger struck a road side fire hydrant and then a tree near his Orlando home. Many sites said Tiger was taken to the hospital in “serious” or “critical” condition. Many, including myself, feared the worse. No details as to why he crashed were released.

November 27th (a few hours later) – SPORTSbyBROOKS

Turns out Tiger isn’t in “serious” or “critical” condition after all. Tiger’s crash was at 230 AM and the news of it did not even get announced until 12 hours later. After much speculation officials, including Tiger’s agent, released statements that Tiger was treated for facial lacerations and released in “good” condition.

November 28th – SPORTSbyBROOKS

Details of the crash start surfacing. Early police reports indicated that Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, had to use a golf club to smash out the back window of his SUV in order to “rescue” him from the vehicle. Turns out that’s not true at all and that the golf club may have bashed out his window after a domestic dispute about affair allegations and even the lacerations from the wreck may have been caused by Elin’s ass kicking.

November 29th – Tiger Releases Statement

Orlando authorities have stated that the 911 calls regarding the crash would be released “soon” and Tiger and wife Elin have yet to meet with police since the hospital to finalize statements. Many believe that this was Tiger’s way of protecting his wife from any domestic abuse charges. To debunk those theories and put an end to the Tiger crash and sex scandal, Tiger released a statement today in his official site:

As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I’m pretty sore.
This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.
This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.
The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.
This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.

Will this end it? I doubt it. Even if the car wreck is finally gone there is still the whole sex scandal/affair to sort out (which is a full blown conspiracy in and of itself). More links on it below:
